Made the two MPUs (microprocessor units) in a modern 45nm process, both can draw on a 256 kilobyte L2 cache. They offer the possibility of any peripherals via three USB host ports, a MMC / SD interface or a dual 10-bit wide DAC interface to increase, which mainly comes in the industry. The main difference between the two silicon pieces is a graphics processor, since only in the larger AM3715, which is clocked 1GHz around quickly, a core with PowerVR OpenGL 2.0 capabilities are built. This is calculated around 20 million polygons per second and can thus create with current smartphones or game consoles. The little brother called AM3703 must content themselves with an integrated 2D interface, and only clocks 800MHz quickly.
Both chips are currently in trial production and will soon be delivered to first customers. Cost is $ 26.5 for the AM3715 and $ 22 for his little brother AM3703
