Onkyo introduced Tablet with Nvidia Tegra

Tablets are now a dime a dozen, at least in theory, for only a few models are actually available. Well presented, the Japanese company Yamaha is another tablet, yet on a processor from Nvidia.

The Nvidia Tegra 250 is a 1GHz faster ARM processor, which can draw on a real GeForce graphics unit. Connections to the Internet can only via WiFi draft-N are constructed, otherwise the unit can exchange data via the integrated USB port or Bluetooth module. For video conversations, there is a 1.3 megapixel camera that can be used but only in landscape mode. When you display is a 1024x600-pixel LED panel, which measures a size of 10.1 inches.

The memory capacity varies depending on the price of either 8GB or 16GB in size, but Onkyo doubled in the large version and the memory from 512MB to 1GB whole. In both versions the customer is also a microSD slot available, so there remains the user the opportunity to expand economically and fast memory. Filled at least a part of the store with Google's Android operating system in the (still) current version 2.2 froyo, an update on the upcoming version 2.3 Ginger Bread is not yet known.
