After one has to be quite sure about the renaming of the new graphics card seems we can be virtually certain that the fears of many case arrives: The Radeon HD 6800 cards are slower than the HD 5800 series. Thus, the colleagues of XFast in the two benchmarks 3DMark 06 and 3DMark Vantage have observed that the performance does not always put in there that you hoped for.
Presumably this will lead many to a small rebellion, but for now, most sites like this that the graphics cards with Barts Pro and XT chip actually marketed as HD 6850 and HD 6870th

Although we do not know, were carried out under what conditions the benchmarks, we hope this regard, however, honesty XFast. Screenshots are also missing, so even a rumor.
However, there is a certain limitation. In our last report, there was talk that Bart's in 1120 or 1280 gets Stream processors. According XFast the tested cards but has the familiar from an older report 800 or 960 stream processors.
In detail, the HD 6870 clocks in the test with 900 MHz core clock and 4200 MHz memory clock from which, arising in the Extreme X7538 preset point.
The HD 6850 comes with 775 MHz core clock and 4000 MHz memory clock, which results in extreme cases, X6549 points.
Both are equipped with 1 GB of GDDR5 on a 256 bit interface
So far, the only advantages of these two cards are in use, since they take up a similar performance at much less watts than the HD 5800er cards.
