Prolimatech Armageddon

Before the great heat wave rolled over Germany, Prolimatech showed in the second quarter of this year, a new tower coolers of their own home. This one titled name and continue with impulsanten brought after the successful Megahalems era, the Prolimatech to Armageddon the market. Whether this CPU cooler can build on the successes of the Megahalems remains to be seen.

Given a completely different heat sink, which for large 140mm axial fan has been constructed, the expectations of Armageddon, however, are high. However, it is hardly conceivable that Prolimatech can achieve with this new CPU cooler a large performance improvement over the Megahalems. What was the outcome we have reached after hours of testing, is found on the following pages. Besides the pure heat transfer performance does, of course, above all, the volume of the CPU cooler, a big role. Bought in the past but the one or other manufacturers a good "cooling" with a high rotor speed of the built-up fan, today's models tend to work with larger axial fans, which have only a fraction of that speed. Greater heat loss and lack of flow often works against you with a huge heat sink. Although the stability of today's motherboards in combination with sophisticated mounting mechanisms this CPU cooler to keep the processor, weight plays a big role and is certainly in the dynamic case, a limiting factor. So it may come quickly at too high a burden during transport to the mechanical damage of the entire PC system.

At this point thanks to Prolimatech Caseking and for the smooth deployment of the test pattern.
