For the first time since some time, the Taipei-based manufacturer Acer has once again shown at the IFA's own television sets. Among them was this time including the AT4285, a 42 inch model of the new AT85 series. The first highlight of this product is the LED backlight, which makes the TV more economical, yet produces more realistic images.
This also is the HD resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels and the frame rate of 100 Hertz. Thanks to the Infini Contrast to the imagery thanks to the better black representation more realistic. The CI + slot - allows provided such a card is present - even the play of private channels in HD Resolution
All devices are connected to the AT4285 via HDMI, if you want an external receiver can also use the tuner for analog and digital DVB-C or DVB-T.
One of the most interesting features, however, should be the use of the Gorilla Glass. Through a special chemical treatment, the display is thus virtually indestructible, and also much less sensitive when it comes to the issue of scratches, owner of Milestone Motorola have already experienced it.
The last - but still exciting - feature is the PVR function. The USB port while videos can be played by external media, but you can record videos as well, pause and continue watching either at a later date.
