Buffalo introduces a new series of external storage media. This is Solid State Drives (SSDs), making use of the USB 3.0 technology benefits. Together with the included PC software, according to Buffalo Turbo of up to 244MB / s transfer speed.
The SHD-PEHU3 series features a glossy black, 97 x 57 x 12mm wide and 66 grams heavy casing. Additional software for the encryption of data is included. In Japan, the series starts in late May. There will be three versions with storage capacity of 64GB, 128GB and 256GB. The prices starting at $ 282 (64GB), $ 510 (128GB) and $ 1,079 (256GB).
